2164705 - SMP: NumberFormatException in log repeated several times referencing ProxyFactory.CreateSystemProxyConfiguration

Symptom

  1. Following starting the server it is noticed that there are several exception with the following format:

    java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: ""
    at java.lang.NumberFormatException.forInputString(NumberFormatException.java:65)
    at java.lang.Integer.parseInt(Integer.java:507)
    at java.lang.Integer.valueOf(Integer.java:585)
    at org.apache.cxf.transport.http.ProxyFactory.createSystemProxyConfiguration(ProxyFactory.java:74)
    at org.apache.cxf.transport.http.ProxyFactory.<init>(ProxyFactory.java:58)
    at org.apache.cxf.transport.http.HTTPConduit.<init>(HTTPConduit.java:301)
    at org.apache.cxf.transport.http.HTTPTransportFactory.getConduit(HTTPTransportFactory.java:248)

  2. You may see Logon Failures or failures to retrieve data from the backend
