2165638 - Negative Stock Not Allowed In Logistics Area

When performing adjustment confirmation for an inbound warehouse order you received the error message Negative stock not allowed in log. area even you have stock in the relevant logistic area.

1. Go to Workcenter Inbound logistics.
2. View Monitoring.
3. Click on By Warehouse Order.
4. Search for Warehouse Order ABC.
5. Click on Edit.
6. Click on Adjustment.
7. Make an adjustment of +/- .
8. Now you received the Error message Negative stock not allowed in log. area.

You had received your product in your warehouse via inspection. This product was marked as Inspection Stock when doing so. When you are performing adjustment confirmation the system is looking for the same product which is marked as Inspection Stock. However, since none of the stock for your product is marked as Inspection Stock while adjustment confirmation is performed system gives the reported error message.

You have to perform a change of stock to set the inspection flag. After this you will be able to successfully do adjustment confirmation.  

1. Go to  Internal logistics work center.
2. Select the option Change of Stock under the view Common Tasks.
3. Fill in the required information.
4. Click on Next.
5. Click on Set Inspection Status.
6. Now the stock will change to inspected Stock Review and confirm the Change of Stock.
