2165771 - Valuation Of Resource In Company Failed - Project Valuation

Planned cost not showing correctly in the project.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Project Management work center.
2. Choose the Projects view and select Project XYZ (XYZ represents the Project ID). 
3. Press Edit. 
4. In the Project press Valuate.

The warning message 'Cost determined with errors for some or all workpackages /materials of task' appears.

OR

1. Go to Cost and Revenue work center.
2. Choose the Projects view.
3. Choose the Project.
4. Choose the View Plan Values button.
5. You can see here some of the project tasks are in Error status marked in Red color.
6. Choose project task and navigate to the Messages tab here you can see error message Valuation Of Resource ABC In Comp AAA Failed On DD-MM-YYYY  (ABC represents the labour resource ID, AAA represents the Company ID).

When an internal employee is assigned to a project the cost will be picked from the labor resource cost rate associated with the Job assigned to the Employee. If there is no cost rate maintained for the labour resource the project valuation will fail on the project/ project task start date.

1. Go to the Cost and Revenue work center.
2. Choose the Master Data - Resources view.
3. Choose the Resource ABC.
4. Press Edit.
5. Navigate to the Valuation tab.
6. Maintain the Cost Rate for the respective Cost Center that the employee is assigned to on or before the Project Task start date.
