2166228 - Price component and Description appear as <Y_>(%)

For all business documents that contain pricing information, such as customer and supplier invoices, sales orders, and so on, if a tax type is created using CSL or PDI, the tax type ID and description appears correctly in the tax details of the document (under Items>Taxes in the document editor); however, for the pricing information (under Pricing and Invoicing>Pricing in the document editor), both the price component and description appear as “<Y_>(%)” for both the item and total pricing.

SAP Business ByDesign

Customer Invoice

1. Go to Customer Invoicing Work Center > Invoice Documents view
2. Search for the Invoice ID "ABC" and open the Invoice
3. Click View All
4. Navigate to Pricing tab
5. Under Item Pricing and Total Pricing the Price Component and Description appear as "<Y_>(%)"

Sales Orders

1. Go to Sales Orders Work Center > Sales Orders view
2. Search for the Sales ID "ABC" and open the sales order
3. Click View All
4. Navigate to Pricing and Invoicing tab
5. Under Item Pricing and Total Pricing the Price Component and Description appear as "<Y_>(%)"

Pricing has not been enabled for tax types created using CSL or PDI.

Currently, it is a missing functionality. No workaround is provided.

Alternatively, you can create an idea in the Continuous Influence Session for ByDesign. Requests need 20 votes of different customers/partners to qualify for review. Reviews will happen on a regular basis twice a year, with the results being communicated in the corresponding review blog post. The ideas can be voted by other customers and partners and the most voted ones might be collected to the product backlog for future versions.
