2167039 - http 500 error when calling Data Services Web Services WSDL from third-party utility

Symptom

  • Returning HTTP Status 500 while executing the following script in Windows Powershell ISE to call Data Services Web Services WSDL:
    New-WebServiceProxy -Uri "http://<WebServer:Port>/DataServices/servlet/webservices?ver=2.1&wsdlxml" -Namespace dataservices
  • No obvious error in Tomcat logs.
  • The following error appears in Data Services WebServices.log:
    [  SEVERE ] Error during WSDL generation: Enterprise authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon information is correct. (FWB 00008)
