You created a profile in which deletion of an operation is forbidden and assigned the profile to "status profile" field for a maintenance order type in transaction OIOG. When you go to IW32 and try to delete one such operation, the error message CO254 "Operation cannot be deleted due to its present status" doesn't occur.
