2168539 - "Unable to execute DX" when compiling SAP Mobile SDK Project

Symptom

When compiling and SAP Mobile Platform Android Project, the following errors are returned :

Error:Android Dex: [<project_name>] Unable to execute DX

Error:Android Dex: [<project_name>] java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: method ID not in [0, 0xffff]: 65536

Error:Android Dex: [<project_name>] at com.android.dx.merge.DexMerger$6.updateIndex(DexMerger.java:501)
