Unable to open compensation forms as a certain user.  Get error invalid pattern: 0#,##0.00,0#,##0.00 when open any compensation forms.

This is typically a data issue for that user.

Do an employee export and check the employee's LOCAL_CURRENCY_CODE is it an invalid value?

• go to admin tools -> manage employees -> employee export (select "include User Compensatin Data" and checkbox "include import field-level eligibility with system import keys" and "include imported comp fields; select a comp plan then export
• Extract the file
• open it up with Microsoft Excel or Open office
• Identify the column LOCAL_CURRENCY_CODE and ensure that it has data valid values like: USD, AUD and not numbers like 0, or special characters. 
• Import it with the correct values like USD, AUD, GBP.
