Symptom

After upgrading SMP 2.3 to SP06, the server failed to start and no SMP server log got generated.

Error occurred during initialization of VM
agent library failed to init: instrument
[Last 4000 events in the event buffer]

The same error is thrown after configuring the props.ini file with the Introscope Agent parameters.
