2170988 - Issue with People Pool for RBP Permission Group

On selecting the drop down list for Division, department or Job Code foundation objects under Manage Permission Group -> People Pool, drop down list contains only few of Division, department or Job Code foundation objects.

However, we can select those values under Job Information, it will work but we will have to search manually.

Employee Central

Go to Admin tools -> Manage Permission Group -> Create a New group

On selecting any of the FO objects under People Pool, Ex. Division and click on [Click to Edit] option.

You should get list of values present in FO object, but in these case only few of the values are displayed

 

Go to Admin tools -> Manage Organization, Pay and Job structure -> Division, these are the list of values that has to been displayed under People pool under in Manage permission group

 

 

Perform Employee Export under Admin tools -> Manage Employees

Once the report is generated, check the list of values displayed under Division Foundation object.

As you can see only few of the values present under Division Foundation object that is the reason people pool ->Division is displaying the few values.

 

When you select EP fields as a filter for your people pool, only the values that are persisted in the UDF (Employee Export) are returned.

This means that if you have a division that no one is assigned to in the UDF, it will not show up in the filter.

If you need to create groups on these missing options, you can either assign it to an employee in the UDF or create you people pool filter based on EC fields, this will show all divisions regardless of users being assigned to it, please bear in mind that EC fields when used as filters are effective dated unlike EP fields.
