2171586 - Boomi: Automatic Restart / Retry of failed Process Execution

Is there a functionality in Boomi for a failed process execution to restart automatically.

• There is a functionality to "Retry" the execution of a failed job.
• You can add a retry schedule to a process, which automatically reruns any documents that failed during a scheduled process execution.
• If you set up a retry schedule you do not need to manually review and rerun the failed documents on the Atom Management page's "Deployed Processes" tab.

Follow the below steps to schedule "Retry" option:

1. Within your Boomi Environment, Go to Manage > Atom Management

2. Click on the atom on the left hand side, within which the process is deployed.

3. Click on the process you wish to add this retry feature to, as seen below, and click on "Edit Schedules".

4. Retry schedules are added in the same way that you add a process execution schedule. There is an additional option for setting the maximum number of retries that will be attempted.

5. Within "Edit Schedules", under the "Retry" tab, click on the "Add" button, where the maximum number of retries can be set, with other options such as "Interval" as seen in the following screenshot
