2172088 - Create Purchase Request Button Is Grayed Out.

Symptom

When you attempt to create a Project Purchase Request, the Create Purchase Request button appears grayed out (disabled).

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Select the Project Management work center.
  2. Choose Projects View.
  3. Select the relevant Project, choose the Edit button and select the option Products.
  4. Under Product Overview tab the Create Purchase Request button is greyed out.

Cause

The Create Purchase Request button is disabled because no products were assigned during the project planning phase.

Resolution

This is the expected system behavior.
Once products are assigned to the Project, the Create Purchase Request button will become enabled.
