Symptom

  • Federation over SSL fail
  • Errors related to PKIX certificates or SSL socket exception as per following examples:

Connection has been shutdown: javax.net.ssl.SSLException:
java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed

Connection has been shutdown: javax.net.ssl.SSLException:
java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

I/O exception (org.apache.axis2.AxisFault) caught when processing request: Connection has been shutdown: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
