Symptom

Objects must be edited but the following error occurs:

TK102 SAP System has status 'not modifiable'

Or, System setting does not allow changes to be made to object PROG <program name>

Or, System setting does not allow changes to be made to object <object type> <object name>

Or in SNOTE, System setting does not allow changes to be made to object NOTE <note number>
