2172370 - Suspect granularity setting for a user database - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • The sp_helpdb ouput for a user database shows:

name        attribute_class   attribute           int_value char_value comments
 ---- ----------------- ------------------- --------- ---------- --------
 <db_name>  High Availability suspect granularity         2 NULL       NULL

  • And the following message are in the errorlog:

Recovering database '<db_name>'.
Recovery (Suspect Granularity): Settings for database '<db_name>'- Suspect Granularity: 'Page    ', Suspect Threshold: 20, Online Option: 'Read/Write'.
...
Recovery (Suspect Granularity): Database '<db_name>' is clean.
