Symptom

Google Cloud Messaging not working and session logs show "ONS1010: Error sending GCM message to client , "xxxx", with Client GUID, "{xxxx}". The request failed with GCM message: Fail-GCM Service Not Available" in SAP Afaria 7.0 SP0X version.

  • Enroll the Android device.
  • Apply the policy for the selected device.
  • Error gets generated in server logs as ONS1010: Error sending GCM message to client.
