SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

2172446 - Browser freezes when create an E-mail or mailform, reply or forward an E-Mail. No reaction.

Symptom

When creating a new email or mailform:

  • No text can be written/included in Body text area, it is not modificable. Cursor is not set.
  • Email's fields (like Account or Contact) are not modificable, no search can be executed.
  • Usually when you click on the email link in IC you get a pop-up for the active-x control, it is not happening.
  • Unable to select any template.
  • It is not possible to add an attachment.
  • As soon as you open the email page you get the message: "Draft Message Saved".
  • The email address search/validation is not working.
  • The application is frozen, it is not possible navigate to another screen.
  • Error occurs in the Console tab in the F12 Developer tools: Unable to get property 'value' of undefined or null reference
