2172489 - Not Able to Assign Posting Control Profiles to an Accounting Principle

You are trying to assign a Posting Control Profiles to an Accounting Principle, however there is no option to add the Accounting Principle.

1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center.
2. Go to view Implementation projects View.
3. Select your Implementation Project.
4. Click the button Open Activity List.
5. Navigate to the Fine Tuning tab.
6. Select the activity Posting Control Profiles for Procurement Processes and click Open.
7. Select your Posting Control Profile ID and go to tab Assignment to Accounting Principle.
8. You will see no option to add the Accounting Principle.

The process to assign an Accounting Principle to a Posting Control Profile is done via the activity Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

In order to assign an Accounting Principle to a Posting Control Profile, you need to execute the following steps:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementation projects view.
3. Select your Implementation Project.
4. Click the button Open Activity List and navigate to the Fine Tuning tab.
5. Search and open the activity Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
6. Click the link Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
7. Here you can change the Posting Control Profile linked to the Accounting Principles.

PS.: Each Accounting Principle has to have exactly one Posting Control Profile assigned to it.
