2172511 - Error ME062 in ME51N or ME21N for non-val. material - SAP ERP & S/4 HANA

Symptom

  • You are creating a requisition in transaction ME51N or a purchase order in transaction ME21N for non-valuated material.
  • You get the error Error ME062: 'Material is with mandatory account assignment'.
  • Same error can occur when you try to create a PR from APO (Advanced Planning Optimization).
