2173631 - Find Compensation Template ID through Ad Hoc Reports

Customer sometimes need to know the template ID of the Compensation Templates, and he/she wants a quicker way than creating an case with Support Delivery.

Or even if the administrator wants to know the Document ID of specifics forms and he/she wants an easier and quicker way than going to each form and check the Document ID.

To find out the Template ID of a Compensation Template, or even a Document ID from a Compensation Form, it's possible to create an Ad Hoc Reporting model to get this information.

Go to Admin Tools > Reports/Analytics > Analytics tab > Ad Hoc Reports > Create New Report.

Select Single Domain Report > Compensation Planning.

 Provide a specific name of this report (e.g. Comp Template/Doc ID).

In People tab, click on Refine Criteria > Team Manager: (head of hierarchy/compensation forms). In this example Alexander Thompson is the head of hierarchy/forms.

Leave the rest as it is by default. You can also include inactive users to the report.

In Data Sets > click on Select Template > Choose the desired Comp Template (in this example, # Test – Comp Statements is being used).

In Columns, select the 4 main columns: Form Template ID, Form Template Name, Form Title and Document ID.

You can also add more or less columns. You can configure it as you want.

Save the Ad Hoc Report and click on Generate.

The data (select columns) of the selected Comp Template is going to be reported.
