2174626 - OLEDB: unhandled exception in msvcr80!_invalid_parameter_noinfo+d2 with ASP.NET application during app pool recycle - SDK for SAP ASE

Symptom

  • IIS ASP.NET web server is recycled on an interval and during this time one or more threads crash with the unhandled exception.
  • Happens when the session is waiting for results from the ASE database server.
  • Application might produce stack like this:
