Symptom

  • When using Internet Explroer 10 or 11, you will get a file download prompt when logging off from the Central Management Console (CMC) or BI Launch Pad. The file name is sessionClean.json

  • The file content is: {"status":"true"}
  • This issue does not occur on Google Chrome browser

  • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) Platform 4.1 SP3 onwards
  • SAP Lumira Server, for BI Platform (LS4BIP), version 1.25
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and 11 are affected. Note that previous versions of IE are not supporteed by LS4BIP (please refer to page 4 in the LS4BIP v1.25 PAM document)
