During the installation of DB2 for LUW with Tivoli Service Automation Manager (TSAM), the installation fails. In the TSAM installation directory log files you can see errors such as:
installSAM: Installin
sam.msg.de_DE
installSAM: Installation command 'installp -<installation path>/AIX sam.msg.de_DE' returned:142
installSAM: Installation failed with return-code 142 : sam.msg.de_DE
...
The above error can happen for other files too i.e. sam.msg.es_ES, sam.msg.pt_BR, sam.msg.zh_TW, etc.
