2175935 - Error "Invalid credentials. Certificate failed authentication. Try reset credentials, enroll again or contact your Administrator." appears when Afaria client is launched after enrollment.

Symptom

  • Error "Invalid credentials. Certificate failed authentication. Try reset credentials, enroll again or contact your Administrator." appears when Afaria client is launched after enrollment. This error cause Applications to not appear in the Afaria client and Portal Package connection shows "failed request at:" in the Afaria client.
  • Device Identity Certificate (X.509) in Configuration Payload shows Mobile Device Management name instead of showing User identification.
  • Device Identity Certificate in Config Payload do not contain correct value in Common Name field of the Subject Name section. This field should have User Identification as a value, i.e EmployeeID.
