2176430 - HTTP 500 error is shown when saving server properties in the CMC

Symptom

After installation or upgrade when saving the properties of any server in the CMC an error is displayed in the right pane:

"Error 500: java.lang.RuntimeException: javax.servlet.ServletException: #{serverPropBean.update}: javax.faces.el.EvaluationException:java.lang.NullPointerException"
