2176807 - How to export data for MDF objects (Generic Objects) in SuccessFactors System?

Symptom

  • How to export data for "MDF Objects" (Generic Objects) in SuccessFactors System.

Resolution

  • Logon to SuccessFactors System.
  • Go to Admin Tools->Metadata Framework->Import and Export Data.

  • Select the action to perform as "Export data".

  • Select the "Generic Object", "Include Dependencies", and all other columns as required.

  • Click on "Export" and you will then get an Export Successful message as depicted below.

To pick the Exported File, follow the below steps:

  • Go to Admin Tools ->Process Job Monitor->Monitor Job.

  • Now, you will be able to see the "Job Type" as "MDF Data Export".

  • Click on "Download Status" to download the file.

  • Downloaded File looks as depicted below.
