2177340 - EDI: M8321 or M8534 when trying to post IDoc for a PO item with multiple GR entries - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • An IDoc raises the error message M8321 - 'Document contains same order item more than once' or error message M8534 - 'Balance not zero: &  debits: &  credits: &'.
  • There are multiple references to the same PO item in the IDOC for each corresponding goods receipt in the PO history.
