2177622 - No Data Displayed in the Profitability Reports for Profit Types Order Profit and Invoice Profit

The Profit Detail by Contribution Margin Scheme report or Profit Overview by Key Figure report doesn't display any data although there are financial postings relevant for selection parameters.

Executing the profitability report returns the message 'No report data available to display; check the selection'.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. In the Cost and Revenue work center go to the Reports - List view.
2. Select the report Profit Detail by Contribution Margin Scheme or Profit Overview by Key Figure.
3. Enter the selection parameters, and select Profit Type as: 1 (Order Profit) or 2 (Invoice Profit).
4. Press Go.
5. The information message 'No report data available to display; check selection' appears. 

The reporting structure used for the contribution margin scheme has no price components assigned to its structure nodes.

To see the appropriate data for profit types Order Profit or Invoice Profit, the price component need to be assigned, by following below steps:

1. In the Business Configuration work center, access the Settings for Income Statements by Function of Expense and Earned Profit Analysis fine-tune activity, either from the Implementation Project's activity list or from the Overview. 
2. Select Edit Financial Reporting Structures.
3. Select the reporting structure Key ABC (ABC represents the reporting structure ID entered as Contribution Margin Scheme in the profitability report, which is also assigned to the company's set of books). 
4. Press Edit.
5. In the structure press Expand All.
6. Select the relevant structure node.
7. Choose Actions and select Assign Price Components.
8. Press ok.
9. In the next screen press Save or Save and Close.
