2178428 - ASE Error 17260 brings DSI down when sp_rename is executed in primary database - SRS

Symptom

Executing the system procedure sp_rename in the primary database to rename a table brings down the SAP Replication Server (SRS) DSI thread with an error:

ERROR #1028 DSI EXEC(109(1) OnASE160.RDB) - neric/dsi/dsiqmint.c(4781)
Message from server: Message: 17260, State 1, Severity 16 -- 'Can't run sp_rename from within a transaction.'.
THREAD FATAL ERROR #5049 DSI EXEC(109(1) OnASE160.RDB) - neric/dsi/dsiqmint.c(4794)
The DSI thread for database 'OnASE160.RDB' is being shutdown. DSI received data server error #17260 which is mapped to STOP_REPLICATION. See logged data server errors for more information. The data server error was caused by output command #0 mapped from input command #0 of the failed transaction.
