Symptom
- when using same parameter twice in a batch of SQL sent to ASE
- In SSIS package sending SQL statement (simplified version): select @p1 select @p1.
- The parameter is defined properly in the SSIS package.
- The SSIS Package execution fails with the following error:
- Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
- Possible failure reasons: Problems with the query, "ResultSet" property not set correctly, parameters not set correctly, or connection not established correctly.
- No problem if just sending "select @p1".
