2180668 - MS Access 2000 users received error -7748 when importing/linking tables - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Microsoft (MS) Access 2000 users received (-7748) error when importing/linking tables that had at least one unique, non-clustered index. 
  • Problem was with SQLStatistics API call (sp_statistics), which is resolved by entering "WorkArounds2 = 8192" in the ODBC DSN connection string.
