2182391 - SCM Infocube Realignment process chain running slow on SAP ASE due to incorrect statistics and indexes - SAP BW

Symptom

You are running BW applications on SAP ASE.

The SCM Infocube Realignment process chain is running very slow. ST05 trace shows the offending SQL-statements to be long-running on the Infocube's F-fact tables.

Therefore you choose to check the statistics for the F-fact table via RSA1:

  • > The cube statistics shows a yellow or red traffic light in transaction RSA1-> InfoCube Manage -> Performance tab
  • >  A refresh of the statistics via RSA1 does not work. The statistics check remains yellow.

 The  transaction RSRV->"All Elementary Tests" --> "Database" also shows red lights for the "Database statistics" and "Database Indices" profiles for this Infocube.
