2182414 - It is not allowed to rename or repackage the original archive sapjco3.jar

Symptom

Using SAP Java Connector (SAP JCo) with Apache Maven or other 3rd party application leads to initialization issues:

LOGON WARNING: JCo initialization failed with java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: Illegal JCo archive <SAP JCo archive name>. It is not allowed to rename or repackage the original archive "sapjco3.jar" at com.sap.conn.jco.rt.MiddlewareJavaRfc. at  com.sap.conn.jco.rt.DefaultJCoRuntime.initialize(DefaultJCoRuntime.java:) at com.sap.conn.jco.rt.JCoRuntimeFactory at com.sap.conn.jco.rt.About <init> at com.sap.conn.jco.rt.About.

In this particular KBA, Apache Maven is used as an example.
