2183134 - Unknown error: Connect to SAP gateway failed Connection parameters, when attempting to connect to SAP BW from Lumira

Symptom

  • Unable to connect to an SAP BW System from Lumira.
  • Can successfully login to an SAP BW System when entering the user name and password manually.
  • When attempting to connect to an SAP BW System in Lumira Desktop, it fails with the error message, if the SAP System is set to login using SNC:
      
    "Unknown error: Connect to SAP gateway failed Connection parameters:
      TYPE=A DEST=custom_<SAP System Name> ASHOST=<Host Name>
      SYSNR=<System Number> SNC_MODE=1 SNC_QOP=9 SNC_MYNAME=" "
