Symptom

  • Incorrect SQL generated in Crystal Reports Designer after promoting  Business Views from a Test/Development (source) system to your Production (target) system.
  • If you compare your source and target SQL Query in Crystal Reports Designer using the Database -> Show SQL query menu, you may recognize that tables, joins are missing from the query on the target system.
