2183635 - Error 692 "Uninitialized logical page was read ... " after renaming database - SRS

Symptom

  • After attempt to bring up Rep Agent for a renamed database, messages appears in SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) log every 2 minutes:

Error: 692, Severity: 20, State: 1 
Uninitialized logical page '14802976' was read while accessing database 'DB1' (7), object 'syslogs' (8), index 'syslogs' (0), partition 'syslogs_8' (8).
Please contact Sybase Technical Support.

  • Database DB2 was renamed to DB1 using sp_renamedb. This database was primary in warm standby application. Corresponding standby DB was also renamed accordingly.
  • Recycling of the DB instance didn't help.
