2184048 - How to convert Private folder to Public and vice-versa?

Symptom

  • Is it possible to convert a private folder into public?
  • Is it possible to convert a public folder into private?

Environment

SAP Jam Collaboration

Resolution

Currently it is not possible to convert a folder. A Private one cannot be converted to Public in SAP Jam and vice versa.

The suggested workaround is to manually move the content from one folder to another.

Note: by doing so all previous versions, comments and feed events associated with the item(s) will be deleted.
