2185277 - User Records Not Updated Due to “Invalid Date Format” Exception in SuccessFactors Learning

When processing the Connector User Record, the records are not being updated in the Learning Management System via the User Connector- SF, because of an “Invalid Date Format” exception error being generated:

Error Code: Invalid Date Format.HIRE_DTE <date format>

• Invalid Date format exception occurs when there is a mismatch of the “HIRE_DTE” date format in the user input file and the HIRE_DTE transformation configuration in the connector file in LMS.
• An invalid date format exception will be thrown if the user input connector file has user records with the date format as “yyyy-mm-dd’ where as the HIRE_DTE transformation configuration under System Admin > Configurations > System Configuration > Connector is set as:
  
  sfuser.field.transform.date.format.HIRE_DTE.MMM-dd-yyyy\ HH\:mm\:ss=MM/dd/yyyy

To resolve this issue please check the following:

1. Go to System Admin > Configurations > System Configuration > Connector
2. Search for HIRE_DTE transformation configuration

sfuser.field.transform.date.format.HIRE_DTE.MMM-dd-yyyy\ HH\:mm\:ss=<date format>

3. Change the <date format> in the above transformation configuration to “MM/dd/yyyy” which is recommended date format

Please note there is only one configuration for HIRE_DTE transformation
