Symptom

When the customer use SuccessFactors application in Internet Explorer, they might face the "**************.com is not responding due to a long-running Script providing them an option to "Stop script" after which that page might not be recovered properly or stop functioning at all.

Resolution

The error "Long running Script error", is environment/platform(IE browser) based and following the steps mentioned below would help us fix this issue:

1) Open Internet Explorer
Click the 'Tools' menu, and then select 'Internet Options'
Click the 'Advanced' tab, select the 'Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)' and 'Disable script debugging (Other)' check boxes
Clear the 'Display a notification about every script error' check box, and then click OK, close and then reopen IE.

and if that doesn't help
2) Click the 'Tools' menu, and then select  Internet Options> Security> Internet zone> Custom level> Display mixed content> Enable

and if that doesn't help
3) You may also avoid these error messages by using an alternate browser.
