2185897 - Required Subject Item Rating for Employee does not work - Performance Management

Required Subject Item Rating does not work with Rating Option 1 (rating-opt=1) or Rating Option 2 (rating-opt=2).

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Configure a form with Rating option 1 or Rating option 2
2. Set Subject Item Rating as required
3. Launch the form for Employee
4. The form does not provide a pop up warning for the Required Subject Item Rating if the Employee does not fill all the ratings in the form.

The Required Subject Item Rating for Employee only works with Rating Option 3.

It is necessary to use Rating option 3 (Everyone has their own rating box for each item - The Final Score is the EM rating) if you want to set Subject Item Rating as required.

If using rating-opt=3 (Everyone has their own rating box for each item - The Final Score is the EM rating)

Manager can edit the Item Rating and Employee can edit the Subject Item Rating. It is possible set required field for Employee and Manager's rating and the refid are "subject-item-rating" (E) and "item-rating" (EM).

If using rating-opt=2 (Everyone has their own rating box for each item - The Final Score can be granted to any role by permission)

You can only configure required field for Item Official Rating and the refid is "item-rating". The other ratings are the Unofficial User Rating (item-cmt-rating) and currently it is not possible to set required field with refid "item-cmt-rating".

If using rating-opt=1 (Everyone shares one rating box for each item + Except the employee who has a private self-assessment rating box)

The required field configuration is the same as rating-opt=2
