Symptom
- SMP 3 SP 06 or later is used
- Relay Server 2 (RS2) 16.5.x or 17.x and Relay Server Outbound Enabler 2 (RSOE2) 16.5.x or 17.x is being used
- In SMP the default setting for Connection Timeout (20,000 ms / 20 Seconds) is being used
- Relay Server Status Page show that the Relay Server is working and the RSOE2 is connected with Full Availability
- Attempting to register an application results in an HTTP Status Code of 400
- In the RSOE2 log file the following error can be noted
M{OEE1060: Lost idle backend connection sooner than max_junction_idle_sec expires. Configure the backend server or the Relay Server configuration to agree on the idle timeout.}
