Symptom

  • After dumping a database from SAP ASE 15.0.3 and loading it into ASE 15.7 SP122
  • the "dbcc upgrade_object" command reports Error 11033:

Msg 11033, Level 16, State 1:
Server 'NAME_OF_SERVER', Line 1:
Execution of view name_of_object_view failed because the upgrade processing did not find source text in syscomments. Please drop and recreate dbo.
DBCC upgrade_object: VIEW dbo.Name_of_object_view upgrade failed
