2188748 - VERTEX Add-on Installation

You need to install VERTEX SMB add-on on your system

SAP Business ByDesign.

VERTEX is a external service to calculate tax rates and tax returns for US and Canada.

Once it is installed, all the transactional documents (sales order, purchase orders and so on) will use add-on to calculate Sales and Use tax rates.

Activation of the add-on is now done via scoping, as follows:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Edit Project Scope.
4. Go to Questions step.
5. Under Built-in Services and Support, choose Business Environment then select Tax Calculation.
6. Select the question 'Do you want to use the services provided by Vertex to determine tax rates for US?'
7. Save and implement the scope changes.
