2188871 - Error 11060 Could not execute statement due to exceeded the maximum number of re-compilations (10) in ASE.

Symptom

Following error message occurred when running SQL statements including views.

      Could not execute statement.
      This statement has exceeded the maximum number of recompilations (10).
      This indicates an internal error. Please note the error prior to this one and contact Sybase Technical Support.
      Sybase error code=11060
      Severity Level=16, State=1, Transaction State=1 Line 1

In general, the 11060 error occurs when running a stored procedure but, this may also report on a problemetic SQL statements if that SQL query access the views.
