2190984 - Software Update Manager (SUM) Error in the phase UPDATE-ENGINE-BOOTSTRAP for Dialog Application Servers

• Software Update Manager (SUM) fails in the step UPDATE-ENGINE-BOOTSTRAP for DIALOG instnaces with the below error: (Logfile: <Path to SUM>/sdt/log/SUM/UPDATE-ENGINE-BOOTSTRAP_01.LOG)

It is important to note that the KBA addresses the scenario where SUM tries to execute the webmethod OSExecute on a Dialog Instance with the NI_HTTP protocol (-prot NI_HTTP) and without the -user flag (-user <sidadm> <password>)

• Update / upgrade of JAVA or DUAL stack systems with SUM
• The system has atleast one Dialog Instance installed on a remote host
