2191863 - SRM UI Addon is started from Portal or NWBC and only a white page is displayed

Symptom

SRM UI Addon is started from Portal or NWBC using Internet Explorer, but only a white screen is displayed.

In the Error Console (see 2165240) you observe that Quirks mode (less than IE 9) is used instead of the Standard (Edge) document mode or that Enterprise Mode is active in IE11.
