2192746 - Error "Unsupported major.minor version 52.0" while connecting to SQL Server 2014

Symptom

  • MS SQL Server drivers version is 4.2 and 4.1 have been downloaded and installed from the Microsoft website.
  • An attempt to conenct SAP Lumira to the SQL Server generates the error:

com/microsoft/sqlserver/jdbc/SQLServerDriver : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0
