2193330 - SRS down with ERROR 11065: sts_handle is being used to start another operation while results are pending to be cleared from the previous 'select' operation or incomplete sts_get_row

Symptom

  • When there is over 100GB backlog in the outbound queue of a standby connection
  • Attempted to drop the connection for recreation
  • A "drop connection" command was pending for a long time
  • Shutdown RepServer
  • RepServer restart failed with ERROR 11065 and FATAL ERROR 18028:

ERROR 11065 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) - s/stsext.c (1162) sts_handle is being used to start another operation while results are pending to be cleared from the previous 'select' operation or incomplete sts_get_row.
FATAL ERROR 18028 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) - servmain.c(1917) Initialization failed. Server is shutting down. 
FATAL ERROR 18028 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) - servmain.c(331) Initialization failed. Server is shutting down.
