2193767 - Issue with Inserting Large Binary Content

Symptom

  • Insertion of large binary content (For example: greater than 600 MB) into a table causes performance issues (Binary Large Objects= BLOBs)
  • Delays/pending in running other SQL operations.
    • For example: customer trying to access lock informations from sa_locks() however it was still pending
  • The Sybase Central GUI and dbisql seems to be hung.
