In a development configuration track there is a defined Software Component (SC) dependency. The track is imported in NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS).
In NWDS, activities are created in order to change functionalities in both SCs. The activities relate to different files in different Development Components (DC), but any activity relate to only one of the SC.
While releasing the activities relating to one of the SCs, the activities relating to the other SC are displayed as Predecessor Activities. As result it is mandatory to release all of the activities although it is desired to be released only those activities which relate only to one of the SCs.
